The 2012 Ormeau Christmas Light Display

Welcome to Christmas on Olivevale Street Ormeau Queensland 4208. At no. 17 Gingie from Shrek will sing nightly (he even speaks Korean). Santa will often wave from inside his little house and of course, there is a high chance of snow. Be sure to come out and visit us soon.

Current viewing session times:

Our lights will be on every night from the end of November through to our final night on New Year's Eve. 6.30pm our lights turn on though the animated sequence does not start until 7pm.
7pm - 8pm out loud through a PA System / 8pm - 10pm tune in your radio to 97.9 FM.

Note: Some feature displays are subject to weather including the Santa house, Singing "Gingie" from Shrek and the leaping arches.

Snow machines (there are 5 on Olivevale Street) will be operational Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights until we near Christmas.

Due to our affiliation with My Ormeau we are excluded from the local LJ Hooker Christmas Light Competition so you cannot vote for us.

Garage door banner

We have had many enquiries about our large garage door banner which we designed and produced this year to finish off our display. It is 4750mm (w) x 2200mm (H) on mesh vinyl. It does attach to the garage door easily which means it goes up and down with the door. We only have 2 left for sale and they are $250 each. If you want one please contact us.
